Our labor rate is a flat $75 per hour, with no hidden fees. Most repairs take one to two hours, so a typical repair costs $75 to $150 plus any parts. We always give you an estimate before any work begins, so there are no surprises on your bill.
Free basic diagnostics
Bring in a computer that isn't working right, and we'll run a free basic in-shop diagnostic to find out what's wrong. You'll get a clear explanation of the problem and an estimate before any repair begins. This offer is for in-shop drop-offs only and does not extend to on-site service calls, and you must let us know before we begin any work that you'd like the free basic diagnostic. If troubleshooting has already started without that heads-up, standard rates apply.
If it turns out your issue needs more advanced diagnostics beyond the basic check, we'll call you first, explain what we're seeing, and get your OK before doing anything further. Once you approve, diagnostic time is billed at our standard $75/hour rate, and that applies whether or not we're able to fix the problem. On more complex issues, diagnostics alone can run several hours, which is exactly why we call first: so you're deciding to move forward with full information, not finding out after the fact.
Custom builds and your own parts
Custom builds and work on parts you supply are billed at our standard $75/hour rate. If a part turns out to be faulty or incompatible, the time spent tracking that down is billable too, and the same call-first approach applies, so you'll always hear from us before we put significant time into troubleshooting a build.

Turnaround
Same-day service on most repairs. More complex work can take up to two days. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are recommended.
Payment
We accept cash, check, and Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit or debit cards. We do not accept American Express.
Our 30-day guarantee
If the same issue we repaired comes back within 30 days, we'll fix it again at no additional charge. This covers our workmanship, but it doesn't cover new problems, including new malware infections, physical damage, or anything that happens to your computer after it leaves our shop.
