Washing away spam

Posted by scottstgelais

I am quite often asked how I deal with unsolicited / unwanted e-mail (spam). StGelais.com has been running for over twelve years now and gets a lot of junk mail from dead and/or bogus e-mail addresses too. I found a program years ago called MailWasher from FireTrust.

MailWasher allows you to preview all aspects of your e-mail on the server before you download it to your computer, thus protecting you from spam, viruses, phishing attacks, and other nuisances. You can then delete unwanted e-mail before it gets to you.

I use MailWasher Pro, but I did start out with MailWasher Free. Here's a link to MailWasher Free over at Download.com.

Till then,

Scott
