All about Scott St. Gelais

Scott started his passion for computers back in the early '90's when he went back to school for computer aided drafting (CAD). Within days of starting classes, he got his first computer (a 286 running DOS 5) and life for him has never been the same. By the time Scott finished school, he had two computers and setup a token-ring network (used before Ethernet).

Scott worked on workstations and servers in the Architectural community for thirteen years as a system administrator and/or IT manager. He started IT consulting in his off-hours in 2001. Then in 2008, the building industry collapsed, leaving Scott unemployed. Having done IT consulting in his off-hours for years, Scott decided to do it full-time and started Geeks in Phoenix.
